Minimum Entry Requirement

Our target audience are those who are 21 years old and above and are currently working in social media related work scope for 0-3 years. The required skills and knowledge for this course are as follows:

  • Minimum Secondary Level and/or able to read, listen and speak of English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 4; and count to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 4
  • Able to operate a personal desktop computer / laptop with intermediate computing and applications skills
  • Able to have an understanding and working knowledge of social media process
  • Be motivated to learn


Candidates who complete the course with at least 75% attendance and demonstrate competency during assessment will receive a Certificate of Completion by FirstCom Academy and the SkillsFuture WSQ Statement of Attainment under the National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF).
