The course will equip learners with the knowledge and skills to effectively develop, revise and monitor order fulfilment guidelines and activities in their organisations in accordance with service level agreements and prevailing industry standards. The primary performance gaps that will be covered will be:

  1. Appreciation of the coverage and importance of end-to-end supply chain management
  2. How to choose and manage overseas delivery options, importation and exportation
  3. How to effectively manage the receiving, sorting, shelving, picking, verifying and packing of products
  4. How to choose and manage local courier services and last mile fulfilment services
  5. How to manage order tracking and integration together with inventory management
  6. How to develop strategies for managing high-volume sales period or logistical crises

This course will address the above performance gaps identified with a focus on empowering participants to take on the planning and management of ecommerce supply chain, warehousing, logistics and fulfilment for their organisation/business. At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

  • LO4. Match the right packing materials and options to products

Many businesses want to join the e-commerce revolution due to the greater outreach potential, elimination of geographical limitations and the convenience and accessibility of purchases for customers. Most training providers out in the market, however, focus only on teaching aspiring businesses how to set up online presences and conduct digital marketing; often missing out on how to optimise business operations and logistics to support the growth of their online businesses. This course will impart strategies and techniques to plan, operationalise and review order fulfilment activities that directly support the success of e-commerce businesses.

Minimum Entry Requirement

Learners are expected to:

  • Have at least 1 year of working experience in a commercial company
  • At least 1 GCE ā€˜Nā€™ Level Pass
  • Be able to read, write and speak English at WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
  • Be able to manipulate numbers at WSQ Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 4

*Learners who do not qualify in terms of education but have the relevant working experience will be admitted on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by the Management Representative (MR).


Certification

Participants who fulfil all requirements will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
