About This Course

• LO1 Examine the fundamental of video production and editing to gain clearer understanding of what an effective and memorable video entails
• LO2 Import files from multiple sources and arrange them in a logical sequence to make the editing more efficient
• LO3 Edit video footages and decide what makes the best cut
• LO4 Identify and resolve problems encountered in the production and editing process

Minimum Entry Requirement

Our target audience are those who are 21 years old and above and are currently working in media / social media related industry for 0-3 years. The required skills and knowledge for this course are as follows:

• Minimum Secondary Level and/or able to read, listen and speak of English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 4; and count to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 4
• Able to operate a personal desktop computer / laptop with intermediate computing and applications skills
• Able to have an understanding and working knowledge of video production process
• Be motivated to learn

Certification

Candidates who complete the course with at least 75% attendance and demonstrate competency during assessment will receive a Certificate of Completion by Cantley and the SkillsFuture WSQ Statement of Attainment under the National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF).
