These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to Cantley Lifecare website (“Sites”) operated by Cantley LifeCare Pte Ltd Pte Ltd (201703024G) collectively referred to as “Cantley” or “we”:

Your use of Cantley Services is governed by these T&Cs. Please carefully read and understand these T&Cs before accessing the Sites or using Cantley Services. By accessing the Sites or using Cantley Services, you are deemed to have agreed to and accepted these T&Cs. If you disagree with any part of these T&Cs, please refrain from accessing the Sites or using Cantley Services.

Cantley reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at its sole discretion. Any changes will be posted on the Sites or Cantley Services, or notified to registered customers via email. Changes take effect upon publication or notification. If you find any change unacceptable, cease accessing or using the Sites and Cantley Services immediately. Continued access or use following modifications constitutes conclusive acceptance of the modified T&Cs.

Use of Cantley Services

To purchase products or use services through Cantley Services, you may be required to register an account (“Cantley Account”). Registration is open to individuals at least 18 years old and not barred from using Cantley Services by applicable laws. By using Cantley Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

During registration, you must provide accurate personal details, including a valid mobile number and a unique email address. You will also create a password to secure your account. You may alternatively use existing login information from selected social network providers (currently Apple and/or Google). By choosing this option, you acknowledge and agree to data sharing for the purpose of establishing an Cantley Account.

Responsibilities include maintaining Cantley Account security, restricting access, and ensuring accurate details. Promptly notify Cantley of any unauthorized use or security breach. Cantley reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate registration or service use for various reasons, including suspected compromised accounts or misuse.

Cantley may, as permitted by applicable laws, access, preserve, and/or disclose account information and communications for reasons such as technical problem resolution, responding to requests, or protecting rights.

Users must comply with instructions and guidelines published by Cantley for accessing and using Cantley Services.

Data Policy

Cantley collects personal data during registration, service use, or transactions, subject to the Privacy Policy available at https://coursemology.sg/privacy-policy/. Users consent to the Privacy Policy and data collection, use, and disclosure practices.

Intellectual Property

Users acknowledge that all content associated with or published on the Sites and/or Cantley Services is protected by law and owned by or licensed to Cantley. Modification, reproduction, or distribution for commercial purposes requires prior written consent.

Restrictions on Use of the Sites and Cantley Services

Access and use of the Sites and Cantley Services are permitted only for non-commercial purposes and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Cantley may, at its discretion and without notice, temporarily or permanently change, suspend, or discontinue any Sites or Cantley Services.

Prohibited activities include disseminating unlawful material, gaining unauthorized access to other computer systems, interference with others’ access or use of the Sites and/or Cantley Services, transmitting viruses or malware, and other specified actions. Non-compliance may result in immediate termination, suspension, or restriction of access.

Availability of the Sites, Cantley Services, and Cantley Products

While efforts are made to make the Sites and Cantley Services available, Cantley does not guarantee availability or service levels. Unavailability may occur, with or without notice, for reasons such as repairs, maintenance, or service introduction.

Cantley disclaims liability for any unavailability, delay, malfunction, suspension, or interruption of the Sites and/or Cantley Services. Regarding orders, Cantley reserves the right to remove unavailable services or products and process available ones.

Cantley’s liability is limited to refunding any advance fees for unavailable services or products. Cantley shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience due to unavailability or inability to fulfill orders.

Pricing and Product Information

While we make every effort to provide accurate, current, and complete pricing, product descriptions, and promotional information on the Sites and/or Cantley Services, we do not guarantee their accuracy. It is important to note the following:

Product pictures and information on the Sites and/or Cantley Services are for illustrative purposes only and may not precisely match the products and services provided.

Prices and pricing information on the Sites and/or Cantley Services may change and vary over time.

In the event of any price discrepancy or error, caused by factors such as price changes, alterations in regulatory funding policies, promotions, mislabeling, or mispricing, we reserve the right to adjust prices and issue additional bills for payment, even if a final or online bill has been presented, or if payment has already been collected. Unless stated otherwise, all prices are in Singapore dollars.

Order Confirmation

Review the details carefully before submitting an order, including the product selected, pricing, funding, and applicable fees. By placing an order, you agree to all amounts, service fees, additional charges, and the final ‘Total’ displayed at the checkout page. You are responsible for paying all amounts incurred under your Cantley Account immediately upon order submission, and these amounts are non-refundable. Cantley reserves the right to reject changes to an order once processed, with changes in schedule and/or contact details subject to an administrative fee, if permitted.

Order Cancellation, Refunds, and Exchange

Cancellation, refund, and exchange options are available based on our Refund and Transfer Policy (located at https://coursemology.sg/faq/). However, certain Cantley Services, including all courses, may not be eligible for cancellation, refund, or exchange.

Payment

Payment information is transmitted through secure channels such as Paynow and BankTransfer. Cantley reserves the right to change payment modes or methods at any time.

Warranties and Disclaimers

The Sites and Cantley Services, along with their respective contents, services, and products, are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Cantley disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or arising from statute, law, or course of dealing, including but not limited to:

Merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for any purpose, title, or non-infringement.

Accuracy, completeness, currency, or reliability.

Applicability or suitability.

Security, authenticity, integrity, or confidentiality of transactions and communications through the Sites and/or Cantley Services.

Absence of viruses, trackers, bugs, worms, or other codes designed to harm data or computer systems.

Absence of harm to data, computer systems, or devices.

No agent or representative of Cantley is authorized to make any warranties or representations regarding fitness, suitability, merchantability, or other aspects of the services or products offered and/or supplied.

Limitation of Liability

You acknowledge and agree that you assume all risk in connection with accessing and using the Sites and/or Cantley Services. Cantley shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, punitive, loss of profits or revenue, or other damages arising from such use or access. Cantley’s liability, if any, shall not exceed the price of the service or product giving rise to the liability.

You are responsible for evaluating and selecting relevant services and products. Cantley does not provide advisory services, and it is your responsibility to assess information applicability. Information may change, and Cantley reserves the right to update it without notice.

Third-Party Sites, Apps & Contents

Materials of third parties on or through the Sites and/or Cantley Services are provided at your own risk. Cantley is not responsible for the content and activities of any third-party site or app. Your visit or use of linked third-party sites or apps is subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by those parties.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute shall be submitted for mediation at the Mediation Centre of the Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE), with resolution through the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Singapore if mediation is unsuccessful.

Force Majeure

Cantley shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations under these T&Cs due to a Force Majeure Event—events beyond Cantley’s control, such as acts of God, public enemies, or pandemics.

Miscellaneous

If any provision in these T&Cs is found invalid or unenforceable, other provisions remain in force. These T&Cs constitute the entire agreement between us and supersede any prior agreements. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our rights. Rights and remedies are cumulative, and headings are for convenience. You may not transfer rights or obligations; we may transfer rights and obligations.

Terms and Conditions for Courses on Cantleylifecare.com website

These Terms and Conditions applies to all courses delivered or conducted by or for and on behalf of Cantley LifeCare Pte Ltd (201703024G) (collectively, “Cantley” or “we”), other than courses delivered or conducted through Cantley Services. For the avoidance of doubt, courses delivered or conducted through Cantley Services shall be governed by the Terms and Conditions for Website and Cantley Services.

The personal information collected is for the use of course registration, account servicing of course-related activities, course survey and / or for application of course-related funding (only if applicable) to respective funding-related agencies / bodies / organisations (SSG, WSG, CPE, etc). 

Information will also be further used if you have accepted (opted in) to receive marketing and promotional materials from us and our affiliates or related entities. Trainee shall be bound by Cantley LifeCare Pte LTd (Cantley) Privacy Policy as shown at https://cantleylifecare.com/privacy-policy/

 Cantley is committed on maintaining the confidentiality of the personal information and undertakes not to reveal applicant’s information to any third parties outside of Cantley and its affiliates and related bodies (other than regulating authorities, funding-related agencies and / or authorised data intermediaries by Cantley) and programme partners (including respective exam agencies of the programmes) without prior consent of the applicant.

Course Registration and Course Fee

Trainee is to have the minimum literacy or / and numeracy level to follow-through and complete the course if there are no specific pre-requisites.

Trainee is to select the correct and suitable language medium of the course (if any) during registration.

Trainee that has any form of health issue, learning disability or any disability that will impact the normal facilitation of the course and engagement in the learning process MUST declare (in writing) and inform Cantley before signing this registration form

The registration form and payment must be submitted to the following 3 centres operated by Olympus Learning Academy Pte Ltd (201100010Z), to sales personnel or by post at least 2 weeks before course commencement.

The course fees are subjected to GST (Goods and Services Tax).

Payment can be made as follows: Self-sponsored Trainee: / Company Sponsored Trainee :  PayNow, BankTransfer or SkillFuture credit

Self-sponsored trainee can utilize SkillsFuture Credit to pay for selected courses (subjected to the availability of the credit in Trainee’s account)

Course Schedule, Class Size and Mode of Delivery

The course schedule is subject to changes, Cantley reserves the rights to cancel, or re-schedule the class without prior notice

Funded Courses

For all government funded courses, Trainee must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident or LTVP+ Resident, aged 21 years and above to be eligible for the funding.

For selected funded courses, Trainee will be permitted to pay upfront a portion of the course fee at the point of application.

For Absentee Payroll, company will submit Absentee Payroll Declaration with the required information in the Enterprise Portal for Jobs and Skills (EPJS) upon receiving SSG email.

For attendance falls below 75% (exclude assessment), trainee is required to retake the module.  All retake modules must be completed within 60 calendar days from the initial course end date enrolled in.  Make-up class request will be arranged upon payment of admin fee of $15.00 (inclusive of GST).

For absent from the course or assessment, trainee is required to re-enrol the course within 60 calendar days from the initial course run end date enrolled in.  Trainee is to pay for the stated / subsidised course fees and administrative charge

In the event Trainee fails to meet any of the requirements set under the funding scheme (as stated below or otherwise), resulting the funding claim application is rejected by the respective funding agency due to any reasons, Trainee is liable to pay the balance of the course fee (the potential funding amount) to Cantley or to the relevant funding agency:

General Funding

Granted funding for the same course before with Cantley or with other training provider.

Fails to achieve minimum attendance requirement.

Fails to sit for the required exam / assessment. (Where applicable)

Fails the required exam / assessment. (Where applicable)

SSG Funding

Granted funding for the same course before with Cantley or with other training provider

Fails to achieve 75% attendance.

Fails to sit for the required exam / assessment. (Where applicable)

Fails the required exam / assessment. (Where applicable)

Absent and Request of Deferment / Transfer / Replacement / Withdrawal of Course

Trainees who are absent with valid reasons, such as medical certificates or hospitalization, may be eligible for a make-up class. The provision of a make-up class is at Cantley’s discretion and is subject to resource availability.

For deferment, transfer, or withdrawal from courses, a written notice must be submitted to and received by Cantley at least two weeks before the course commencement.

If a student withdraws from the course for reasons other than those stated in the previous clause, the Private Education Institution (PEI) will refund an amount to the student within seven (7) working days of receiving the written notice of withdrawal. The refund amount will be determined based on the table below:

Incase trainee withdrawn due to the Class Postponement or the class cancellation by us-100% Full refund of course fees will be refunded within 7 Days

All requests will be subjected for approval.  An administrative fee (inclusive of GST) will be imposed for approved refunds / withdrawals or transfers based on case-by-case basis:

Course Evaluation and Survey

The Cantley Course evaluation is scheduled for the final day of the course. Following the completion of the SSG course, the SSG Training Quality and Outcomes Measurement survey (TRAQOM) will be administered. 

Trainees are required to provide their personal email address and phone number for the survey. An email invitation containing a hyperlink to access the Quality Survey will be sent on the course’s last day. Another invitation, with a hyperlink to access the Outcomes Survey, will be sent at least 6 months after the course concludes.

For specific courses, the initial survey will be conducted 3 months post-course completion, followed by another survey at the 6-month mark. Additionally, as part of our commitment to continuous quality improvement, a service follow-up survey may be conducted after a reasonable interval following course completion.

Exam and Assessment

Trainees are required to be punctual on the day of the exam/assessment. Individuals arriving late will not be allowed to participate in the exam/assessment. Any trainee caught cheating will face exclusion from the exam/assessment, and Cantley reserves the right to take appropriate actions.

In the event of a failed exam/assessment, a trainee seeking to appeal may submit the appeal form and the required payment before the submission deadline.

Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

The trainee agrees to indemnify, release, waive, and discharge Cantley, as well as its directors, officers, agents, representatives, employees, third-party partners, and any other third-party vendors or trainers engaged by Cantley (“Releasees”). This includes holding the Releasees harmless from any causes of action, claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses that may arise due to the trainee’s unauthorized use of the Technical Skills. The trainee further commits not to bring any claims against the Releasees for liability or causes of action arising from losses or damages resulting from such unauthorized use.

Conduct and Behaviour

All trainees are required to adhere to Cantley’s values and applicable policies during any course conducted by or on behalf of Cantley. This includes refraining from inappropriate language or conduct towards Cantley’s employees or representatives, fellow trainees, or others.

If, in the sole discretion of Cantley, a trainee’s behavior is deemed inappropriate, the trainee may be excluded from or asked to leave the respective class or course without any refund of course fees. Cantley’s decision on the appropriateness of a trainee’s conduct or behavior will be final in all cases.
